Joondalup Resort is a stunning venue located about 30 km north of Perth. It has heaps of accommodation for your guests, a huge golf court (so you can have a swing and relax either before or after your big day) and a stunning lake. Andria and Peter decided to celebrate their wedding here and they couldn’t be happier with their pick.
The wedding
The day started at Andria and Peter’s place where the groom and the groomsmen planned to get ready. After a few cold ones, they started getting ready and in no time they were all good to go for the ceremony.
Andria instead got ready in one of the rooms at Joondalup Resort. She wasn’t too keen on having her photos taken during the prep, but after seeing how beautiful she looked, she kind of changed her mind. This happens often and Andria was finally a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.
The amazing Debra Cittlebrough directed the ceremony and we were all blessed with a stunning, sunny afternoon. Afterwards, the couple and I went for a little wonder around the venue snapping photos and having a great time. Andria and Peter have a very busy life and this was the first time they got to spend an entire day focused on themselves!
Once back in the venue, the party was on. A few great speeches by their closest ones were followed by endless crazy moves on the dancefloor.
Wedding at Joondalup Resort
I got the chance to photograph weddings at the Joondalup resort a few times and I must admit this venue has never disappointed me. The service has always been spot on and the food is sublime.
